Day 6-7

Après 500km de parcouru, nous sommes finalement arrivés à Québec. ! Le 6e jour, nous avons fait encore quasiment 100km, malgré un temps fou perdu le matin sur internet et au subway. Du coup nous avons tout donné l'après-midi et sommes arrivés à Donnacona épuisés. Là nous avons pris une bière plus que méritée et nous avons pu dormir dans le jardin d'un habitant et pris une douche. La bière et le bar de village sont quand même des facteurs importants pour rencontrer les habitants ! Les gens sont bien trop gentils ici. Hier nous avons dormi chez Brenda, une amie de Stéphanie, qui nous avait logé à Ottawa. Nous avons visité la ville d'ailleurs magnifique, pendant la journée. Un bon resto le midi, et le soir nous avons fait la cuisine pour nos hôtes, histoire de montrer un peu les aptitudes des french au fourneau. Les 46 km du même matin avaient été rapides, du coup hier fût une bonne journée de repos et nous sommes parés pour partir plein est, direction les U.S.A !

After 500km we finally arrived in Québec. The 6th day, we rode again almost 100km despite the fact that we lost too much time in the morning on internet and eating at Subway. Therefore we gave everything we had during the afternoon and arrived at Donnacona exhausted. There, we took a well deserved beer and an inhabitant that we met there offered us to sleep in his garden and to take a good shower. Local pubs and beer are a good combination to meet good people here. And people are way too nice ! Yesterday we slept at Brenda's, a friend of Stéphanie where we slept at in Ottawa. We also visited the city of Québec, which is gorgeous. A good restaurant for lunch, and we made good food for our hosts in the evening, just to show off a bit about the french and the cuisine. :)
The 46km of the morning went fast, so we had a big day to rest yesterday. Now we are more than ready to hit on the roads again and head est, towards the U.S !
